The other week on GQT, I am sure I heard someone raving about a calcium based, organic anti slug spray. They said it was commercially available. It rang no bells with me and before I start trawling catalogues etc does anyone know what it is and, if you have used it, is it any good?

They were talking about it yesterday (repeated sunday), so I will listen again as I was driving when I heard it. But it does sound interesting. -

I think the speaker probably meant this stuff Grazers Slugs and Snails which, if is like Sluggo is based on Iron Phosphate and interferes with the slug/snail's calcium metabolism. So not based on calcium."A life lived in fear is a life half lived."
