Thanks. I have bouts of IBS and this time is was quite a bad bout of it. Comes and goes. Sometimes I can have it for ages then it stops and I might not get it flare up for months.
Little girl had a nasty chesty cough. She has them now and again but when she has them they are very bad. Last time I took her to docs they told me it was just a cough. Not what I need to hear when I have a 6 year old coughing her guts up. So she has been off school being dosed up with 6+ Calpol and Buttercup. Another problem with her is when she is poorly she stops eating.
Thankfully now she is back at school.
So we are both now better and I hope to be back at the allotment as much as I can now,

Hope you are both feeling better by now.
know how worried you can be about your little girl. My grand daughter got one chest infection after the other and missed countless time at school. She also went off her food when she was feeling unwell. Thankfully she is now ten years old and over the last few years she seems to have outgrown the terrible chesty coughs.
Hopefully your little girl will go the same way.

I'm a bit of a bad mom. She was messing about with her food still so I got her a Mc Donalds Happy meal. Was the first time I've done this one to get her eating again. She did pick at it but did eat it all in the end and thankfully it seems to of jumped start her eating again. We don't have Mc Donalds all the time. We have them as a treat so only have them once every couple of months if that.
She is only 6 but is in 8-9 clothes and is up to my shoulders. She is of a very slim build so when she stops eating the weight just drops off her and she looks even more poorly than she is.

When we go she is like "Wow we are at Mackie D's for a Happy Meal. Haven't been here for ages" Then she gets excited about the free toy and drinking a bit of my fizzy pop.
All these other children there look at her as if she is mad.
