    What we made from 3 scaff planks and some fence posts

    Well, I say we...
    My OH, decided that all of the tables and chairs in certain diy shops were far too expensive and unlikely to last very long, so he took it upon his self to make his own!
    I helped with holding planks, sanding and varnishing by the way!

        They do look good and far better than you'd see in the garden centre

          I noticed there was only one glass of wine on the table
          You've made a really good job of it between you. Should last a lot longer than the prepack stuff.
          i have a table made from old decking boards and fence posts and its been out in all weather for years. Still rock solid.

              If you have the time , perhaps you could make a few and sell them on ebay???

                    Wow what a great idea,a lot more practical than them all in one jobies,well done both,do you know that planks can be sawn up the length to make narrower bits of wood for planters,frame work ext,we used some as laths to hold the debre netting on the bottom of the net pens,son has cut up planks for his shed frame work,lots of uses,we love planks,
                    sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these

                        Actually BM I never!
                        I was official plank holderer! Fetcher and carrierer, sanderer extreme, bits of wood on the floor picker upper, sweeper upper, screw holderer, drill bit finderer and made all of the egg butties, cups of coffee etc.
                        He couldn't possibly have done without me!
