I have wondered myself how people are managing to do that

I don't think I've ever had a problem with one of my pics on here, be it taken on a camera or on a phone

It's a problem that happens with the iphone/ipad and it happens intermittently. Although saying that, the last few times I've uploaded a pic from my app it's come in the correct way and the quality has improved.

Asked as out of the last 5 or so posts that have had an attached image(s) all but 1 image has been on it's side. Makes it difficult when someone asks what is this problem on the leaves when the first problem is working where the leaf is, and something on it's side is just not so easy to interpret.

Really it was the frequency of them that came across, 1 in 5 I could understand, but 4 in 5 seemed to imply a problem between uploading and display as I am sure when selected they were orientated correctly.

Well, I thought it had been fixed. Over the last week I don't think any of mine have been rotated but I've stopped using the main website for uploading pics because the picture quality via the app has improved. Although I have made sure I've rotated a landscape image to portrait before I've loaded it.
