  • For Bill HH

    Hi Bill,
These pic's taken last year show the Tumblers in full production late July early Aug.

At this time they are about half of what you see and can best be described as straggly but properly fed and watered they soon bush up.

The toms are bigger than I was expecting, they look well, I will put a pic of mine here tomorrow, I think they are an untidy plant, but with a yield like that who cares.

I find Tumblers a bit tasteless, Maskotka have a much more tomato / acid taste but it does depend on what you like.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

This is the trouble with the damn seed catalogues, every tomato in the book is described as having superior taste!!!

They are looking good Bill, that basket will be heavy when every flower is a tomato.
