  • Can anyone help?

I went out in the garden to water my veg and noticed something on my little gem lettuce. Does anyone know why it's gone like that or what it is?

Could be one or two things. Brown edges can be caused by tipburn due to lack of water, unlikely in the present weather conditions. Aphid attack can leave distorted leaves. Are there any holes in the leaves that could be caused by slugs or snails.

It looks like the leaf has been nibbled and it starting to die back due to the damage. Maybe time to harvest it?

No leafs have been nibbled, but I am suffering with aphid. Nothing seems to be working to getting rid of the little critters.
All my over veg are fine. Think I will harvest my lettuce.
