    Pear Tree Poorly

    I've googled images for pear diseases, and it looks to be something called 'blister mite.'

    It doesn't seem as though there's much to be done about it though.

    Anyone got any thoughts?

    Do you have any photographs, how much of the tree is affected?
    Feed the soil, not the plants.
    (helps if you have cluckies)

      I'm pretty sure that's what it is, the leaves are blistered and discoloured. A lot of the tree is affected. I'll see if I can get some photos up later.

        I had blister mites on my 2 Pear trees.

        Sprayed them with Fish fertiliser and all gone in 2 weeks and leaves all opened up shiny and dark green.

        Looked online and asked advisors at RHS but eventually found solution on a fprum and tried , it works...

            One more thing

            They take shelter in leave buds when they clise in autum

            so when leaves are almost about to shed, start spraying with oil mixed with double the soap ( not detergent but soap) every 5-7 days till all leaves shed

            When buds start to open again in soring then treat again with oil emulsion above + fush fertiliser 2-3 times and you wont hv the problem

            buy horticulture Neem oil + hoticultal neem soap online.

            application instruction are on bottle

            good luck

            Also but Neptune fish fertiliser, its made from a good process (hydrolace)
