  • Weed or not?

    hi all,

A new approach in the garden this year. I'm leaving things I'm not sure about until I can get a good ID on them, as opposed to last year when I pulled out half my perrenials thinking they were weeds. lol

So, just the two I'm not sure on right now. Any ideas?

    1. Looks a bit like a nettle and has a small yellow flower

    thanks
    2. Has a nice purple/pink flower. I believe this is a weed, but not sure what it is

I've a soft spot for weeds but I turf those 2 out.
The first one is Wood Avens, I'm not sure of the name of the 2nd one but someone will tell us and I'll say...Ah Yes, of course

Hi both weeds I have taken the time to remove from my allotment when they turn up.

Remember weeds are competing for the moisture so every one less is more for the veg to flourish to maturity

              Happy gardening
