  • They have arrived!!

    When doing my daily spray of the cabbages in the tunnel I found the first hover fly larvae. Let's hope there lots more to come.

    What do they look like?
    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
    If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

      About 5mm long semi transparent slug like things. I will try and get a picture later.

          Here you are folks, pictures of hover fly lave munching their way through the greenfly.
