Anyone used them fiskar weed removing things that are advertised on tv? Ive got loads of weeds in my lawn but the amount their is I would have to pull it all up if I was to do it by hand.

Any other advice would be great

    Thanks

I have one but I still find some of the deeper roots snap in the ground. Got unsightly brown holes in the lawn too as it seems to take some grass up too

Got one too! Needs a bit of getting used to! But "hoikes" my weeds, tap root en all! I don't do weeds if I can help it!

Yes I have one and when used properly it is very good at getting weeds up and is pretty quick too. It is much better at getting weeds out of my sons weed infested lawn than the paths at my allotment.

Do I just make this up and sprinkle it on the lawn snadger?

I've simply used a garden trowel before, yes it may pull up some grass too but it's easily put back.

For a chemical solution (pardon the pun) I've spot treated using Verdone. Don't use the grass clippings if you use Verdone on the whole lawn but if just treating one or two troublesome weeds I have still composted the clippings.

They look blinking expensive to me. I have something that looks like this:

(Its an all-in-one hand tool, not a Wolf multi-tool plug-on like that photo, but I can't find a photo of mine).

I bought mine in a car boot sale for a quid or two, and it works well.

I've got the Wolf one - think it was quite expensive but it was a pressie so didn't cost me anything

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
