  • Are these shallots?

I posted a question last night about my 'self set onions'. Have managed to load a photo! Hooray ( my husband says I'm going through the technopause)

Are they shallots? How should I replant them? Any further help gratefully received...

They look like Welsh Onions to me but then again.

Are the leaves flat or round Jane?
Have you grown garlic in that spot?

        Young Garlic
Separate them carefully, replant and give a good soaking.
Replant the remainder as bunches, give a good soaking and use as required.

Feed the soil, not the plants.

Yes, planted garlic two seasons ago! The leaves are flat...
