  • Just water or food too?

    Hi,

Do grow bags need feed added to the water or is just water enough?

A grow bag will contain enough food for 4-6 weeks after that you would need to amend feeding accordingly.

If you are growing Tomatoes the normal advice is to wait until the first fruit set (you can see a pin-head fruit where the flower was earlier) and only then start feeding, and use a high Potash fertiliser (any Tomato fertiliser will do).

I don't think there are any that can be applied as granules, so (unless you find one that is!!) you'll most likely find either a liquid or granules that need dissolving and applying as a liquid feed.

Peppers would need feeding at an earlier stage I reckon ...

Maybe you are growing something else though? Anything "fruiting" can be given a high Potash / Tomato fertiliser.
