  • Plum moth traps.

    Hi,
Last year for the first time had plum moth caterpillars in most of my plum trees' fruit and my damson tree fruit. I am thinking of buying some plum moth traps. Has anyone used these traps and with what success? Are they worth it? Would one trap hung in each tree [more than the manufactuers recommend] work better? Any advice and experience as usual greatly appreciated.

They work, stick to manufacturers recommendations on spacing, otherwise costs you more money for same result.
Also find the Apple sawfly ones are good on apples and pears
    Hope this helps.
Feed the soil, not the plants.
    (helps if you have cluckies)
