    Does anyone know what I can use to remove permanent marker from the plastic labels?

            If that doesn't work, next time write your labels with black nail varnish, then it will work.

                ...and if you use pencil you can just use a rubber to get it off. No elbow grease required.

                    For pencil I steal a piece of SWMBO's Doktor Power Magic eraser.

                    For permanent marker Swarfega hand wipes, which contain conditioners and moisturisers for my delicate dandies.

                      I use a fine grade of 'wet and dry' paper.
                      Location....East Midlands.

                        I use a chinograph (or something like that) pencil for labelling and then rub it off with one of those magic eraser things. Works really well and I have some that have lasted for about 7 or 8 years until they inevitably break.

                        Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

                          I use a permanent marker too, easier to read from a distance than the pencils they give you. Fairly easy to get rid of with a bit of washing up liquid and a green scouring pad.
