  • If my bulbs have mould on them is it game over?

    Evening all,

I bought some bulbs and when I went to plant them some of them had mould (It was quite a stand out colour but I can't remember - blue or green).

Although I planted them I was wondering if they have a chance of growing

    Many thanks,

    Samuel

Hi Samuel, did you notice if the bulbs were firm or soft?

      The bulbs were firm.

It was only little patches of mould as opposed to completely covered in it.

You didn't say what kind of bulbs they are, but you sometimes see them treated with greenish dust that is fungicide to keep them from going mouldy. Sounds like it could be that if the bulbs are firm.
