Found some slugs in my greenhouse/blockhouse..so i thought of a way to combat the little beasts.....i got a roof slate then went in my house and got the kids craft box..i did a 2-3cm line all the way around the edge with pritt stick. then i sprinkled it with salt, a bit like you woukd if it was glitter lol!then placed this under my plants in one of my little green houses..but if you had a real greenhouse you could always do your shelves?????

Sounds like a brill idea!
It would presumably make watering the pots a bit more tricky, but I bet it would do the trick!

I will do nicos. i had thought about that..the cups are in a holder that has drainage holes in it which is upturned in the other black tub which is waterproof and there is a 5/6cm gap betwee. the botom of the drainage one and the black one..i water in my greenhouses with my kids watering cans so its a bit more precise...im gonna put a photo on in a sec of my nettle tea as i dont think its right..please take a look in the thread 'good idea or not' cheersComment
