  • red spring onions in greenhouse??

    Ive sowed some red spring onions in a plastic container indoors as instructed. I was qondering can I put them in the greenhouse or does indoors mean indoors?

    I start mine off in the GH in 3 inch pots these are then transferred to larger containers in due course, sow 4 pots a fortnight so has not to have a glut.

          Indoors means indoors for tender (half hardy) seedlings. You can do hardy stuff outside in a cold frame (or unheated gh), although a little bottom heat will speed germination along in the colder months of Feb & March
