  • Late planting Daffs?

I have a bag of Daffodil bulbs, and I know it is late to plant them - but we are creating a rockery bed down at the allotment and really want daffs there . . .

Logistically, makes sense to me to plant them in situ now - but would planting them this late / early have an adverse effect upon the bulbs? Or am I better off storing them 'till the autumn?

    Many thanks

Plant them now - they may flower later this year but will catch up next year. If you store them they'll shrivel and be useless!

I planted some tulips on Saturday that I'd forgotten about and wee starting to look a bit worse for wear. Nothing to lose by giving it a go!

Well, I am - we don't discuss medical problems here
