    Hi
    Will it be okay to plant my potatoes in the bags now? And is it chit up or down I've forgotten!

    Chit up. I haven't planted any of mine yet as still a little waterlogged but would have thought a bag would be okay.

      My first early are in their bins, just have a fleece or something to throw over them if a frost is forecast.

        I've got a couple of bags of first early in the unheated GH - did them about a week ago, not got around to doing any outside. Might limber up and chuck some in using the much favoured bulb planter through the cardboard method.

        Though - I do have to work out which of the remaining 2 types are the first earlies. That would help.
        While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.
