  • My poor dog :(

My wife has just left for the emergency vet as my dog keeps yelping and crying when he makes certain movements with his head!

Was playing happily with my son in the garden all day.

All google searches indicate a disc or trapped nerve injury it has a out of hours fee of £105 and 45 minutes away but he's worth it.

Hope it's nothing to serious I'm feeling really sad now

Awww, the one thing I hate about having pets is when they're not well. I feel for you, I really do Hope he's better very soon.

Bless him, there's nothing worse than when they are in pain and they can't tell you what's wrong. Hope he gets sorted out and is home soon.

Sorry to read this Darcy. Maybe he's pulled a muscle while he was playing

Hi, sorry to hear your dog isn't to good. Hope he is home soon and that everything is okay with him.

Its such a worrying time when they aren't well.

As my little girl says "hugs coming your way" for your dog and family.

Sorry to hear your dog's got a problem Darcy. Hope it's not as serious as you are imagining at the moment. Could be just a pulled muscle as VC says. These things always happen on a weekend or bank holiday, don't they?

Wife has just phoned vet can not find anything obvious that's wrong and suggested anxiety??

We have had him 3.5 years and apart from the odd time he has got lost under our feet I've never heard him yelp like this!
He has yelped about 8 separate times at least!
She has suggested taking him home and keeping an eye on him I mean seriously £105 for that probably be taking him to our normal vet tomorrow!

Has he run into something? Have you checked his paws for foreign objects? Is he still in pain?

Yeah paws were the first thing I looked at!

There still not back should not be far now I might sleep down with him tonight i may not be able to do anything but he might find I reassuring at least.

Hope it all goes well for the dog. Mine had a similar problem and it turned out to be a ricked neck. Best wishes
