Poly bags question!

    Poly bags question!

    I'm thinking about these but want to ask a question first can I not just cut the top off a compost bag add a few holes in the bottom and use them in the same way?

    If I want them to look neat surely turning them inside out would expose a solid black bag??

    Is my logic of thinking correct???

                            Yes you can, I grew quite a lot of spuds in old compost bags last year, the only problem was stopping them falling over, I had to wedge them against each other. I melted some decent sized holes in the bottoms with a red hot copper pipe. I have gone for plastic 40ltr buckets this year,
