  • Is this deep enough to grow peas in

I have kelvedon Wonder peas sowed and they grow 2-3ft so i would like to know if this would fit the bill for them to grow in, its the 4ft one and is 6" deep (or would the 2ft x 4ft one be ok cos of the room it will take up) This is my first time of growing peas and i dont have room in my garden to grow them there, thats why i am looking at a raised table.

I'd say just.... but watering will be non stop in drier weather.

I'm sure someone will be along to say how wrong I am

yes but it was a general question about growing peas in a container in a greenhouse, and was told i could grow them on a raised table, now i am asking about the sizes.

I've recycled some old wooden drawers (no rude comments please!) as planters! Drilled drainage holes in the base and stood them on a base made from pallets. Never grown peas in them though but I am growing peas in flower buckets

My pea containers are 9" deep so 12" should be plenty.
