  • Cardboard and stuff

Just wanted to say, I took your advice last autumn, after clearing bed, put down cardboard, then put contents of compost bins on top, (not fully composted,) then covered with black fabric. Removed black fabric today, it's great, lovely, rich soil, full of worms and stuff, that's where my potatoes are going in a few weeks time.

    Very happy

You told me so, and I listened. What would have made you laugh is when I 'acquired' the cardboard from the communal bins, where someone had chucked it out, and me and husband staggered across the road with it.

Love it SWMBO now says "watch the road" or "concentrate" every time we pass a skip these days.
