A friend has asked me to ask you peeps for some advice. Because of the very mild weather we've had, her rhubarb is coming up now. Normally she covers it up to blanch, but is worried that's it's too early to do that? What should she do, please?

Yes, I have mine covered at the moment.

I read that people throw away the forced plants afterwards. Is that right? Or maybe that was just commercial practice?Comment

I don't throw my forced plants away. I just don't force those the following year or two
