    Hi everyone, from Rotherham S,Yorkshire

    Hello fellow horticulturists (and gardeners) lol. Any other members on here from the area? Looking forward to exchanging ideas & information etc. Been interested in growing plants from being a kid. Still interested after half a century.

    Used to grow shrubs from cuttings as a hobby, and sell them from home at the weekends. Now got a new interest- Dahlias, but know quite little at the moment , so will be picking your brains!

    Howdy. Plenty of folk from up your way.. I hail from Derbyshire originally... thick 'n arm, thick in t'head!

    Well, I don't have thick arms, but can't comment on the other one!

    I like Dahlias as well, but can never be bothered to dig the tubers up, and no matter how well I insulate, they ALWAYS rot for me. So, I've given up growing them really.. Do you grow them from seed?

        Hi Dahlia and welcome from me too. I know nowt about dahlias except my Uncle used to grow huge ones around his cesspit. Don't suppose that helps you much

              Hello, I have cousins in Rotherham, but don't know it all. I have son in West Yorkshire, does that count?
