    My 50th birthday

    For my 50th birthday in December My wife and Daughter bought me the following
    Passe Crassane Pear (desert)
    Louise Bonne of Jersey Pear (desert)
    Gala apple
    Tickled pink apple very intrestead in this as its pink all the way through
    All on dwarf stock 1 year maidens love my pears and my Daughter loves a gala apple so looking forward to these in the future
    Also they bought me a 1/4 standard Rokula gooseberry
    The pears have gone in my back garden but the rest have gone on the lotty

      What a fantastic collection of pressies!

            When people give us trees as gifts, we always remember them when its beautiful in flower or we're picking the fruit.
            We got married after being together a long time so didn't need any pop-up toasters. We asked for white plants and landscaped a new garden with them, with silver birch and pear trees, roses, irises, climbers and shrubs. On the anniversary in May I look around and think of the friends and relatives who came with their gifts. All the aunts and uncles and some friends have passed away now, but for us their spirit is still there in the White Garden.
