    Rowan berry jelly recipe - All recipes UK

    For stella and anyone else who fancies making it, We like it with game or it does go well will turkey or chicken.


    this is one I found online, from memory it's pretty much the same as the one I normally use.

    just to add I normally end up freezing my Rowans as I always end up with too much on the go! I think this probably helps make them sweeter, I suppose a bit like letting the frost get to them, I like to pick them before the birds get them!

      that is great many thanks I will have a go ......better just Google Rowan berries first and make sure I have got the right tree

        loads of rowan trees round here - red, orange and yellow - we'll be making a few gallons of rowan wine, as well as rowan jelly

        does anyone know if the different colour rowan berries taste different in jellies or wines??
