  • Bees in Greenhouse

    Hey there,

What is the best way to entice bees into your greenhouse in order for them to pollinate some of the veg in there? Any ideas people?

    Thanks

Leave the doors and windows open. What veg do you have growing that needs pollination?

      Hi there,

I have the windows and doors open but no bees seem to want to go in and when one does eventually go in it keeps firing against the glass trying to escape. I have chillies, toms and cumcumber growing.

      Thanks

      Craig

None of them need pollination by insects - they do it all by themselves. You can help them along by tapping the supporting canes or the plants themselves if you wish.

It's quite fascinating really, if you watch closely you will see a little cloud of pollen when you tap them
