    Aubergine in or out

    Is it best to grow aubergine in a greenhouse or would it be ok to have it in the garden? My green house is only small plastic one.

    Mine is in a pot outside and looking healthy, if its really windy or forecast cold I pop some fleece over it at night time

            I always grow mine in the GH. Outside temp too unpredictable!

              Not sure about round your way but I've tried them outside here and there's no way I'd get anything off them, they need a lot of warmth and with last year's rubbish summer (?) I struggled with them in the tunnel - they really would appreciate the extra protection.

              Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

              Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                    With the weather changing I think I will be popping my aubergines in the greenhouse this week! It's definitely not as warm as it has been today :-(

                    I hope that wasn't our summer :-(
