Could anyone tell me why I should or should not use the water out of my fish tank to water/feed my plants!

Surely it should be ok may have a high nitrogen content I think not sure to be honest but must have some kind of nutrition in it surely??

Never thought of it to be honest. However they use fish in hydroponics so I can't see why not. Think I will start taking mine down the allotment.

When I wash out the pond pump I always use the water for the garden. Never known any ill effects.

Tank water will contain fish wee and fish poo. Therefore it will contain nitrogen. Should be fine on your plants.

Hope its not a marine tank.

Also if you have had any fish treatments added to the water.

Other than that it should be fine.
