  • Help ! Bent PSB!! :(

    Hi all
Have grown and sown some PSB. It had been potted on in to 3" pots, hardened off and then planted out. All the plants have good root systems, but some have a bent or twisted stem. Will they right themselves?

When I've broken PSB in the past with bent stems they have needed some additional support when older, but they grew equally as well as the others. This year I've planted the bend below the surface to see if this helps them at all. Only time will tell.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Wouldn't worry about it...Happened to mine before and they were fine anbd cropped well....If you dont stake them as they get biiger, they will bend even more!!
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Ok, thanks for your help, grapes. Will have stakes at the ready just in case.

Pull some soil up round them to cover the bend and they should produce more roots from the stem.
