  • Anyone use an IPC tank? Proplems with adaptor

I managed to get an IBC tank and sited it on a small hill directly behind my 2 PTs. I purchased a 2 way adaptor/converter and the plan was to run a hose into each of the PT's. I part filled it today to check it was working fine and found that the adaptor is leaking from th right hand side, I can't see anything wrong with it or the threaded neck on the IBC but it doesn't feel like it's screwing on properly. I gave up and came home - anyone use an IBC adaptor such as this and does it work fine or have you experienced problems?

Mine isn't a two-way adaptor, but changes the outlet to a standard garden tap. Mine leaked to begin with but then I wrapped PTFE tape round the threaded bit on the outlet before screwing the tap adaptor on, seemed to sort ot out

Mine leaked very slightly, but stopped. I would've used ptfe tape too.

I use a blank cap on the IBC'S outlets then drill a hole in it then fit a tank connector to the blank cap
Then you can use 22mm or 15mm copper pipes or full bore lever taps
                  No leaks
