I've acquired 3 1m Sq raised beds and planed to stack them, put glass on top and use it as a cold frame. However I do already have a blow away. So, I know it's probably a daft question but can a blow away be used successfully as a cold frame or is my plan to use this wood a good idea? I don't have the space or need for new beds right now

I think the best use for a blowaway is as a cold frame. It will need to be anchored well though, or it really will blow away. -
Im actually doing both with my beds (they are raised 1ft but not filled in). I have a lid on 2 to use as a low coldframe and Im using a blowaway cloche on another. I did have to attach wire to the wood though and run it over the cloche to stop it flying away!Comment
