    Wonderful pictures, - here is a spread from my 1941 edition of RHS Vegetable Garden Displayed.

    I wonder how many gardeners today still wear a 'weskit' collar and tie.

      I have some allotmenty pics in a big book of war photos - I particularly like the football pitch ones

        My grandad did too
        I like the 3 men comparing their potatoes (?no. 13). The man on the right is looking at his as if to say "I've only got one, and its a very little one"
