  • raised bed complete

    Hi everyone,

A while ago, I posted on here that I'd like a raised bed ready for the spring time.

I managed to get my Dad to make it for me

Here it is, all made of 4 x 2. Solid as a rock. And heavy as hell!!!!

I am very pleased with it.

thanks all, I will tell him you all like it.

To be honest, he is quite a good chippy. And is one of these 'jack of all trades' type of person.

Yes it was incredibly heavy VC.

But this WILL last 20 years.

I am hoping to fill it over the next 2 weeks or so....

Glad you all like it. I hope the onions will feel the same!!!!

4 x 2 No wonder it's heavy I made a coop out of plywood, and that was heavy enough, can't imagine how heavy that would be

I got some horse manure going in there, along with some topsoil and some compost. (All for free)!!!!

I will put some chippings in the bottom.

And I have a liner going in there.
