She does the weather on BBC in the mornings. She has the infuriating way of saying Englind, Scotlind instead of England and Scotland but otherwise I'd be quite happy for her to invite me out for dinner

Just had my winter gardening fix was an interesting program made up of various clips some of them 6 years old. Plus there was 7 different presenters so if you're not too keen on a person you know they're only doing a short slot.

Watching the weather used to be a delight; she was so bubbly and happy until some ... ..... numpty complained to the BBC and she was told to tone it down

She is still lovely to watch but not quite the same.

She comes from Moray, near Elgin - my niece was a friend of her niece and attended her wedding. (the niece's wedding).

Take your turn in the queue AP - it's 10 miles long

I'll have you know matey, I was born and brought up in Morayshire, even went to the Munro baths in Elgin for swimming lessons on a Friday afternoon. So local knowledge would give me a huge advantage if I was 20 years younger and on the lookout for a woman.

If you were 20 years younger it would give you a massive advantage but as it is with my niece knowing her niece and having a house in Elgin, I think I have the inside straight now, if only I was 20 years younger and she lived in Elgin - ah well all I can do is continue to drool each morning

Nice place Elgin - town centre is still quaint which is unusual and the Laigh Moray Hotel is excellent.

I used to like Rob McElwee - he had a way of making the weather entertaining - then they axed him for being too old (born 1961)

I watched it and really enjoyed it....no long latin names did it for me. And YES darcyvuqua I want one of those apple trees as well - I wonder if you can do the same technique with pear?
If I can find where my hubby hid his stanley knife (after watching me drool over how easy it looked - Hah) I might have a go with my Bramley!
