  • The 52 week Challenge 2013!!

Life can be a bit predictable sometimes and its easy to fall back on the same old things, week in week out, because they're familiar and its easy. So for 2013 I'm challenging myself, and anyone who would like to join in, to do something different each week for a year!
It can be something simple like sowing a new type of seed, eating or cooking something unusual or doing something in a different way. Perhaps going somewhere that you've never been before, or not for a long time or meeting up with a Grape. Anything really that is new or you haven't done for a while. You may find you never want to do it again, but at least you'll have tried. If we say what we've done, it may give others the idea of trying it too.
    Anyone up for the Challenge?

As I've said before, 2012 was challenging in all the wrong ways. I'm not sure I've found solutions to all or any of last year's problems but the 52 Week Challenge might just help.....something, however small, to look forward to, to occupy my mind in a better way and to encourage me to get orf me arris.

    So I'm in!

Week 1: Beach hut & Summer house cushion covers.....watch this space!

Welcome Moopmoop! It doesn't matter what they are, how simple or easy to others. as long as its new to you. One week I'm going to make pastry and another, a cake. These things are doddles to many on here, but I just don't do them, and haven't even tried to for years. So I'll have achieved something when I do it

I'm in - I know that I have a tendency to get stuck in my ways and resistant to change so this will give a kick up the arris!

Stupid question, does the week start on a Monday?

Last time you mentioned this I used circumstances to say I couldn't but the more I think about it, because of circumstances, I should do this.

Tonight I have canned 4 pineapples in light syrup using the waterbath method which is new to me and that will be my first week Next week I plan on making soap

How would you like to do it? Post on this thread? I could do a prompt at the start of each week and we could list what we've done? Any ideas?
