  • Cutting up seed potatoes

    Hi - I've read about it but has anyone done it with good results?
    My local shop has Home Gaurds and I'm thinking of chitting some soon for early early planting in the tunnel. Would be good to cut them in half before planting to double up on the yield. That's the hope anyway. What do you think?

    I've never done it, but I do cut the sprout ends off any spuds that I'm cooking, and they go in the compost bins (daleks). I usually get a good crop out of the daleks when I turn them
