  • Celtice?

I have seen the seeds in a couple of catalogues but... does it realy have leaves that taste like salad leaf and leaf spines that taste like celery? Also how big does it grow as we have limited space?
    Thanks Sue
p.s one of the catalogues said that it was completely mis-named by the Americans.

The leaves are really tasty but I never got round to eating the root.

I grew some expecting two in one ,the leaves taste ok,but not impressed with the stems, not grown anymore, the size is medium to large,my ones grew like a semi loose leaf, but you see,not everyone has the same taste buds, thats what trying these things for yourself is all about,if you not like, then seed swap them, it's called celtuce in the books,
