    One Hit Wonders

    I just raked through some old vinyls & came across this beauty, I'm thinking of putting together a cd of blasts from the pasts in particular one hit wonders so need your help, what were your favs that should be remembered?

            Since children may be watching, I'm not sure that I want to name it, or put a link to it but a French duet from 1969, banned by the BBC, and hence an essential record in one's collection, is still one of my favourites I taped it, along with other songs of the '60s, and used to play it in my Triumph Spitfire. I can still see the lorry driver's face when I stopped at traffic lights alongside him, and the track changed from something quite ordinary to this
            I've just listened to it again, several times - most evocative orchestral backing

                Yep he did guest vocals on that track,it was a last minute decision by the band when they heard Rod singing in the same recording studio,did you know they were actually an Australian band ?,have a listen to their take on the Wayne Fontana standard ...........
