My son and his mates are getting together tonight, not a party as such, but I decided to do them a cake anyway.

My daughter made this one the other day as a practise for halloween. The actual finished article has flying bats on sticks. I'll photograph it later.

Kissykit decided to make one for her party last night. With a full day of lectures she didn't have much time, but I think it looks great. The pumpkins have buttercream under them to make them slightly 3D.
She's really keen at learning cake decorating and sugarcraft now. With her fiance's 21st birthday coming up, she'd got a challenge as he wants a vw camper van
