    has anyone successfully grown sturon onions overwinter

    I think Sturon are for spring planting.

      Yeah they are

      Try the japanese ones for overwinter hawthorns - 'Senshyu' are the yellow ones. They should be available in most places - garden centres, £1 shop etc etc

        what about growing in modules in a cold greenhouse then planting out in spring

                          I've often grown them but only from spring sowings.

                          Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
