    Imagine the world is about to end..........

    Imagine, if you will, that Feral in Oz has just posted a message to say that the world is about to end with immediate effect
    Since Feral is Darn Under it will end 9 hours before it does in the UK. Sorry Feral, but that's life.
    What would you do in the 9 hours remaining? - keep it clean, children may be watching

    No it won't..... if the WORLD is about to end, it won't do through the time zones, it will just do it.

    However.....just to humour you. Nine hours?

    I was going to say cook a really nice meal. But, in reality, I think I'd try to find a quick way out, depends on just how the world is going to end. I think that 9 hours would be torturous.

      Tell all my family that I love them! If possible I'd enjoy that which mustn't be mentioned cook and eat something really nice and then sit in the garden, hopefully in some sunshine, drinking from a bottle of good wine or 2

        Gather family in close and have one last meal up in the garden with all the pets, as well, all having seats. Of course the dogs wouldn't chase my mother's cat and both wouldn't hurt the chicky. The sun would be shining and it would all be a bit Alice in Wonderland. Then we would all fall fast asleep whilst lying on our backs under the trees, later on wake up and realise it was all just a horrible dream.

          Yep, VVG has it about right...it was just a horrible dream. Too much wine last night...

                    pack up a really good pic-nic,of things i love to eat and drink,and some clean nicks in me hand bag,og and heavy boots,so when blasted up will have some emergency supplies to help out,the heavy boots,to keep me on the ground,well try,
                    whatever next will you come up with VC

                      But what if the "would ending" got cancelled in the last 30 minutes, now wouldn't that be a bummer...
                      Epically if you had done a load of "naughty" stuff... oops.

                      I would add to this discussion but can not think of anything clean....

                        I did think someone would have looked at the positives - like stop worrying that the slugs have eaten all my veg - or not having to pay that parking ticket now!
                        I'd like to drive down the motorway as fast as I could and pull faces at the speed cameras.
