I've run out of empty milk cartons/fabric softener bottles to make comfrey tea. Can I use transparent pop bottles, or can I decant the already brewed tea into clear bottles? I suppose the alternative would be to brew what I have left in a bucket.

mine is in a barrel with a lid on,ask peeps that know you,i would have thought anything that has a tight lid on will do,empty paint tins,juice cartons,just as long they got a lid,on acount of the stench,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these

Bless you both, thank you. Only problem now (apart from stuffing such a small aperture with leaves) is that I have to retrieve all the tops of the bottles from the black bin. If you don't hear from me later, you'll know where I am
Ooh BTW, I had a live spider in my bras this afternoon and I don't mean cabbage today!
They weren't on the washing line either

Yep any bottle would do, although if you're storing it for a long time, I would keep it out of direct sunlight

Yo Flo, just to say that I decant my tea from its home (chicken poo tub) into a 1.5l mineral water bottle - clear, definitely. keep it in the shade though as northepaul said.

I hadn't thought of that TS, I must have been lucky, I've twice refilled the ones I've got, so I'd better watch out, thanks. I do keep them in the shade and I don't tighten the tops too much. Thanks all
