Chin up, my sweet. A few well meaning thoughts.

Knitting, crocheting, regardless of what gender one is. Ma has knitted lots of scarves, hats, mittens, phone covers, blankies and change purses whilst being immobile. Oh and head bands. Lots of arts and crafts things too.

Play with an Icepad, read your kindle on it, catch up with Iplayer etc.

Not sure how immobile you are, but have you seen these things:

Ma uses the below to build up strength:

Bored, already?? Come on Darcy, get a grip!! You're overtired so you need to catch up on your sleep. Doze when you can - there's nothing wrong with a snooze when you need it
How about learning a foreign language? Or planning your allotment and researching what you'll plant where? Or answering some of the question that are asked on here?
Or starting a Blog all about your new allotment?

Have you read War and Peace? You'll be up and running around the allotment before you get it finished! How about jigsaws? Anything you enjoyed as a kid that you never again had the time to do, model building. Try writing some Haikus. Google Earth is a great way to pass a few hours, have visited amazing places in the past. Take a trip to the Taj Mahal and the Angel falls all from the comfort of your sofa
              Google Earth
Great new features on there like famous buildings in 3D . You can even go to Mars!

Or google street maps. I took a walk through Sydney the other week ...
              Street View ? Google Maps

Chin up, the worst is over ...

Could always sort your seeds alphabetically or by month of sowing.
Then throw them up in the air and do it again.

Work well with lettuce or carrot seeds.

Better still now the law has changed about what seeds can go into mixed lettuce packets how about sitting down and sorting out the mixed salad leaf packs you may have and beat the ban!

                              hello everyone,
its my sons birthday in 4 days and my god sons in 7 days so i took it on my own head today to do some online shopping for both of them. i also ordered myself a couple of jigsaws as mentioned on this thread

i also managed to do some arts and crafts sticking drawing general messy stuff with my kids today so im feeling a little less frustrated today.

my wife has changed the dressings on my wounds as they were looking quite sorry for them selves she has promised me that if im feeling well enough to she will take me out tomorrow and i cant wait

so all in all a good day

was going to post some pictures but not sure you all want to see them
