  • Sunburst Patty Pan - lots of fruits, but none reaching maturity

I have what is now a very large "Sunburst" patty pan plant. It must have had so far around 20 fruits, but every one has dropped off the plant at only about an 1" diamater. It is still producing fruits in large numbers and taking up lots of space.

I have tried to hand pollinate a few, but with no success. And yesterday I removed a number of leaves from the plant today to allow more light in and hopefully increase chances of pollination. Not sure what else I can do - any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Only thing off the top of my head is the plant is short of potassium maybe and is dropping the fruits as it can't support them bit of tomato feed maybe. This is a long shot, but fruit dropping is usually caused by a stress factor pest, conditions or food.
