I have had some weird trusses on mine this year as well, about a foot long truss, and then on the end of the truss another stem has formed so might get another truss off that

I reckon the toms in the Op are sungold

Sungold, Black Cherry have both produced double trusses. I have cut them back as I fear it will be asking to much of the plant to ripen them in what we have left of the season.

          Good looking toms Braders.

I'll watch out for that with my black cherry Colin. If you remember, they're the ones I rescued from that rubbish Wickes compost. Replanted in B&Q Verve, they've done remarkably well and are now fruiting.

Does that mean he drinks a lot and is why his glass is always half empty?

Of course if the double trusses need extra support, later on - I will provide this in a caring non-judgemental manner

I have soooo many tomatoes on my major forker, Costoluto wotsit. He has taken over a corner of the greenhouse, been supported on the canes of other less demanding toms and is attempting to clamber out of the skylight. Meanwhile Black Krim is doing his best to outfork him.......

When I nip the tops out they just reply by throwing out a fork when my backs turned and not even an easy to snap off side shoot either ......My Amish has gone up to the roof , I pinched out the top and now its still travelling across the roof ..Well I think it's the amish its hard to tell in the jungle .......
