with this years weather ,i thought we would be hit by blight early again ,like last june, but for all the rain i think the low temps have stopped it appearing, even though the tatties are around 5/6 weeks behind ,they are growing well, good colour clean leaves,so we are hoping for a bigger crop than last year, from the 9 dustbins,as regards the blight and reporting its spread,i am the only one i know within at least 1/2mile that grows any tatties, but local aaron spuds, grown on a bed of seaweed are on sale in all the nearby shops, but, like jerseys, they are not cheap.only know of one other person who grows food, but thats strawbs and a few chillis, not a great demand for fresh veg and if i have given some ,i can be asked for cooking hints..

i did send an email via the link on the page nearly a month ago and have not yet received a sampling kit or a reply to my email..
Maybe they only send them out to those that register early in the year so i might try again next year if i remember when i get the spuds in the ground
