  • Christmas Potatoes In Pots

I've bought some seed potatoes from Thompson & Morgan for autumn planting. The varieties are Charlotte, Maris Peer and Juliette. I've got some round pots 14 inches wide and 12 inches deep, how many seed potatoes can I plant per pot?

I'm no potatoe expert . But for that size pot I would put two in at the most

I put one in my Morrisons buckets, which I think is the same size as yours.

        I plant a Morrison's potato too
I just dug up some lovely Charlottes a couple of weeks ago, which I planted (if I remember right) last Sept.

I just planted some Charlottes that have been chitting (neglected) since March in morrisons buckets of old compost (failed seedlings etc) and am rather astonished that they are romping away!!!
