Growing crystal lemon and apple cucumbers in side and out , do i pinch out male flowers or leave .

I'm growing these as well, and my understanding is they're a ridge/outdoor type, so not to remove the male flowers. I can't remember if mine are crystal apple or lemon, but have been led to believe they're actually just different names for the same thing.
I could be wrong on all of this, as it's my first time growing them (or any veg) this year. -

Thank you both fopr your replies. I have Diana F1 inside the conservatory and have picked a couple of cues but they were only about 4" long does anyone know what size they should beComment

Don't know about your Diana but you can pick when you want but you are quite right in saying that Crystal Lemon and Apple are the same thing an only pinch them out if they're getting a bit wild and in the way. Do pick the fruits young though as they're much nicer although older ones can be good used instead of courgettes.

Diana will get much bigger than 4". Think usual supermarket size. I grew Diana for a number of years but have gone back to Femspot as I found Diana very prone to red spider mite. Femspot seemed better last year so am growing again this year but could have a lucky year last year, time will tell!Comment
